Felipe Nascimento is a Brazilian Zouk teacher, DJ, Jack & Jill judge, and content creator based in Brasília, DF. With over 10 years of experience in the dance world, he has built a unique artistic identity that combines technique, musicality, and emotional connection.
His teaching methodology focuses on three pillars: body awareness, musical interpretation, and authentic communication between partners. Felipe believes that dance is a universal language — and that everyone has something powerful to express through it.
Internationally recognized, he has taught at some of the most prestigious congresses in Europe, the USA, and Latin America, including the Dutch Zouk Congress, Zurich Zouk Congress, ZoukMX, Atlanta Zouk, and Ireland Zouk Family.
As a DJ, he carries a technical and emotional approach to curating sets that serve both social dancing and Jack & Jill competitions, always balancing energy, musicality, and crowd connection.
Dance is freedom. And freedom is for everyone.
The meeting of two dance universes created something greater than a partnership: a shared purpose was born.
Felipe Nascimento and Nina Santos joined their paths to develop, strengthen, and spread Urban Zouk across Brazil and the world. Coming from different backgrounds, but connected by the same artistic vision, they share a passion for music, freedom of expression, and constant evolution within dance.
Felipe brings his experience as a teacher, content creator, and Brazilian Zouk artist, with a focus on musicality, connection, and communication through movement. Nina, from Porto Alegre, carries a solid foundation in urban dance styles, combining technique, presence, and authenticity with her deep connection to Brazilian Zouk.
Together, they created a proposal that blends the essence of Zouk with urban influences, exploring musicality, dynamics, texture, intention, and artistic identity in a modern and accessible way. More than teaching steps, the partnership's goal is to inspire people to find their own expression within dance.
We believe Urban Zouk goes beyond a style: it is a language. A bridge between cultures, music, and people.
And this is only the first phase of the journey.
